MPs Debate Christianity in Public Life

|
Parliamentarians spoke in Westminster Hall on Wednesday 11th March in a friendly and well attended debate secured by Andrew Selous MP for South-West Bedfordshire.
Vivid and insightful contributions were made by several Christian MPs. They gave speeches on the importance of the Christian faith in both the political arena and of its motivation for the faith groups that work with the most vulnerable people in their communities.
Edward Rennie from CARE’s department of Public Affairs, who attended the debate, said; ‘It was tremendously encouraging to see British politicians being open about the centrality of the Christian faith to their political motivations’
