Support During the Programme

The year is a fast and furious one, with many new things to get used to quickly and plenty of hard work.

CARE is very aware of the changing environments that Programme members face, as well as their needs for accommodation, friends and a church. One of the benefits of being part of a group of people in a similar situation is the mutual encouragement you receive.

You will meet in small groups throughout the year for prayer and study. The IFC Team provides day to day support and the Associate Director acts as a point of contact throughout the year.

If Programme members do not already live within commuting distance of their placement, they may need to find accommodation in the city where they are working. We understand this can be a challenge, particularly on a budget, and we are happy to offer advice.
