How many prayers?

As we are celebrating 30 years of CARE,  we did some number crunching for our October Catalyst and worked out that Celia Bowring has written almost 11,000 daily prayers in over 1,500 weeks!  You can read more and see some wonderful comments from our supporters here.   As Celia commented, ‘without our supporters and the Holy Spirit’s help, the Diary would not happen!’

Why Prayer?

‘Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 4:4,6,7 NLT)

For us at CARE, prayer undergirds everything we do.
