Getting Involved: Ideas for making a difference

CARE relies on volunteers to maintain and further its activities. Depending on your gifts, abilities and interests, there is almost certainly some way for you to be involved with CARE for Scotland:

  • Using our daily prayer guide to pray for our society
  • Becoming involved with a pregnancy crisis centre as a counsellor or in some other capacity
  • Starting a local branch of the Schools Prayer Network
  • Raising CARE issues within your church fellowship
  • Becoming a CARE intern for a year after graduation
  • Being available to help with administrative tasks in our Glasgow office
  • Using your expertise or special knowledge to help CARE for Scotland develop policies and practices

If you are considering standing as a candidate for a local council – either as an independent or a party candidate – please do contact CARE for Scotland’s political staff who will be happy to offer support and advice.
