From School Boards to Parent Councils
As of 1st August 2007, the method by which parents were involved in their children’s schools through school boards has changed.
School boards have been replaced by parent councils and parent forums.

CARE for Teachers
The most recent development of the CARE for Teachers programme is a regular series of CPD days dealing specifically with Christian perspectives on education policy and practice.

‘evaluate – informing choice’
evaluate is CARE’s dynamic sex & relationship education programme, which consists of four multimedia presentations for different age groups from age 10 upwards.  To have an evaluate presentation at your school contact the CARE for Scotland office on 0141 332 7212. Click here for more on evaluate.

CARE for Scotland’s publication ‘Sex and Relationships Education in Scotland’ is intended to help school managers develop this area of the curriculum in the light of relevant legislation, and it stresses the need to consult with parents about the approach and content of sex education programmes. Schools Prayer Network
