Who are we?
At CARE in Northern Ireland, we want to be a people who uphold human dignity and
support the most vulnerable in society through engaging with politicians in the Northern
Irish Assembly. In our efforts to have a voice for love and truth into society, we see
the local Church playing a pivotal role. To this end, we endeavor to equip and resource
Church leaders, and their congregations, to be effective light and salt, whether it be through
engagement with their local MLAs or through grassroots initiatives to minister to those
affected by these issues in their communities.

' On a range of social issues within the Assembly I have found CARE to be both pro-active and responsive to the needs of politicians. '
